Classic advertising: One of the best forms of advertising is, and will always be, word of mouth. You are looking for a plumber, and in telling your friend this, she shares a great plumber experience her sister had. Right there! You feel more comfortable going with a company where someone you know has had a positive, personal experience.

Modern Twist:  Job Site marketing! A landscape company is doing a big remodel on a home. They send a direct mail piece to the surrounding homes, either by radius or quantity, letting these residents know they are in the area and working on a nearby home. “Stop by!” “Take a look at what is going on in your neighborhood!”
