Instagram is a fun way to share photos – and your brand. Here are three quick and easy tips to make Instagram work for you.
Connect your accounts
Instagram allows you to link your account with your profiles on other social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. This allows you to post your photos directly to your other pages, hashtags and all. This is an easy method to make sure your followers on Facebook, for example, know that you’re on Instagram.
Learn to “regram”
While not built into Instagram itself, this is a great tool for connecting with your followers. A “regram” or “repost” is simply posting someone else’s picture (giving them credit, of course), and it’s a fun way to engage with your followers. Search for your hashtags and use an app like Regram to easily make your followers a big part of your feed.
Like, comment, and follow back
Of course everyone knows that you need to engage with your followers, and Instagram makes it easy. Check out your followers’ profiles, browse hashtags that are relevant to your brand, and “like” photos using your brand’s account. And when you get new followers, follow them back! Build relationships.
